mictlanrisesAracely is a telepath and an empath. She can read the minds of those around her, from the current thoughts and emotions to things that they are not currently thinking of, like their habits and favorite colors. She uses this ability freely and isn't very skilled at keeping others out of her head.
In addition to this, she is capable of influencing other people's emotions, making them terrified, worried, sad, fostering a love of puppies... whatever she wants. Most of the time, this is intentional. When Aracely is upset, though, she can accidentally project her emotions on those around her. Please note: it is not very easy to resist on the first time she tries it, although subsequent attempts have mixed results.
If you do not want your characters mind breached for any reason ever, please let me know. I am not going to make it a habit to have her read other people's minds constantly, and I will ask permission before doing anything unless free reign is granted here. I will always ask permission before having her attempt to sway a character's emotions.
If you would like her to do so to your character, please contact me through the journal or on Plurk.
To let me know in advance, answer the following questions.
1. Character?
2. Can Aracely read the very "top" of the character's mind? Surface thoughts and current emotional states.
3. Can she delve deeper and find whatever she needs?
4. OPTIONAL: "Aracely has free reign to attempt to sway my character's emotions."

3. Yes, but I note that Tazendra and Zelgadis would be cross if caught. Zel will just yell and avoid you, but Tazendra can be violent. Tazendra's world does have telepathic communication though I don't know if they've developed mind probes yet. (A later series had them, but they only just developed the magic that permits telepathy.) Iroh is used to teenagers making poor choices when scared, so there's very little Aracely can do to make him actually upset.
